Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Swatches and Review

Needless to say how gorgeous is this palette!? I'm so late to the party. I have heard so many people rave about them but never actually bought any home, I always thought why would anyone wants to dust shimmery powder all over their face? OMG, how ridiculously wrong was I!?

I know a lot people complain about the size of the palette, think they are over priced, but I disagree, yes it contains much less product, yes it has a £65 high price tag, but if you want to try out their entire range and don't want to spend well over £100, this is the cheapest and prettiest option.  However, you probably can't fit your normal powder/blush brushes into this baby, I find the best brush to use is Wayne Goss 02 brush, or Sigma highlighter brush, you don't have to buy the exact same as me, but this should give you an idea of what size brush you have to prepare in order to use this palette.

It contains 3 powders which single full size retails for £38, or Ambient lighting palette retails for £56. 2 blushers which single full size retails for £28, 1 bronzer which single full size retails for £42.

Dim Light is a neutral peach beige shade with a subtle sheen, I use it to dust all over to set my makeup, on my NC30 skin-tone it blends perfectly, minimise my pores and imperfections.

Iridescent Light is a sheer illuminating highlighter, exclusive to this palette, it has a slight pinky undertone, but it's almost translucent on the skin, it is the prefect strobing highlighter! It's more like a combination of dim light and diffused light.

Diffused light is a pale yellow powder with a few micro shimmer in it, I like to use it on my under eye area, the centre of my forehead and my chin, it instantly brightens up my complexion without looking too obvious! But if you stand under bright sunlight, you'll definitely a few micro shimmer here and there on your face, but I still love it. I will definitely be picking up the full size, I CANNOT live without this baby already!! Yes! it's that good!

Next we have Bronze Light, very finely milled, a medium tan shade with a delicious looking sheen, good for light-medium skintone,  I don't reach for it very often, simply because I don't use bronzer much.

Luminous Flush is champagne rose, a soft warm rosy pink with a beautiful sheen, it blends into the skin like nothing was there, gives you a girly flush look.

Mood Exposure a muted medium pinky mauve,  again blends well into the skin, lasts almost all day!

That is all, enjoy! xx
